Excited to announce that the G2C team will be at TiEcon 2025 in Santa Clara next week!

Vik will be judging at the Startup Bootcamp while Sunil and Amar will be mentoring promising founders who are ready to accelerate their entrepreneurial journey.

The Startup Bootcamp, run by Naeem Zafar, a successful entrepreneur and professor of entrepreneurship at UC Berkeley and Northeastern University, offers a unique opportunity for founders. This program delivers real value through hands-on mentoring and practical feedback.

TiE holds a special place in all our hearts at G2C. Each of us – Sunil, Amar, and Vik were helped by TiE members at critical moments in our entrepreneurial journeys. That community support transformed our thinking about what silicon valley ecosystem truly means and why that ecosystem is valuable in shaping successful companies.

I still remember pitching my idea to about 12 different TiE members. Everyone gave good feedback but one TiE Member (Suhas Patil) whose insights were brutally honest and cut through all my assumptions (and some founder BS) – he completely changed my trajectory. As a founder looking to change the world you need that perspective that comes from experience, challenges your thinking while still  encouraging you to keep moving forward.

What makes TiEcon 2025 such a powerful catalyst is how it ignites that entrepreneurial grit. Our name G2C captures our core philosophy “Grit to Capital” the belief that at the earlies stages of company incubation the raw determination when paired with the right capital and partnerships creates magic that transforms industries.

Building a company isn’t just about having perfect conditions – it’s about having the determination to push through when everything seems stacked against you. TiEcon creates the environment where this grit can thrive, connecting determined founders with the experience, capital, connections and coaching they need.

The mentors and leaders at TiE embody the principle from Bhagavad Gita (scripture dated to the 1st/2nd century BC) in which Lord Krishna shared: focus the karma that you can control without worrying about the rewards of that effort that you have no control over. TiE leaders give freely of their time and expertise without expectation of return, understanding that lifting others creates success and fulfillment for everyone.

At TiEcon come find me, Amar or Sunil ! We would love to chat about how we may be able to think through your assumptions about the opportunity you are pursuing and challenges you are facing.   If you are building in Enterprise AI and putting business users in control of AI capabilities we may be able to share our perspective.

The conference features impressive speakers including Satya Nadella (Microsoft), Shantanu Narayen (Adobe), Warner Thomas (Sutter Health), our good friend Beerud Sheth (Gupshup) and several other founders, executives and VCs. But beyond the access to industry leaders, it’s the fun, the community and relationships with fellow entrepreneurs and mentors that provide that breakthrough you need.

Looking forward to seeing you there! Contact us at founders@g2cventures.com
